A truck overturned onto Verity Pkwy. in Middletown at about 7:20 a.m., June 30, spilling its load of steel coils as well as anti-freeze across the roadway. The driver, Tim Sallie, was uninjured. Crews from the Middletown Police Department and the Butler County Sheriff's Office were on scene to help clean up the accident and direct traffic.

An inflatable bounce ride obstacle course got loose with children still in it at about 3:41 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Goldman Park in Middletown. One 11-year-old boy was taken to the hospital, and a few other children received minor injuries, according to Middletown police.
