Trees in Douglass Park that lined Verity Parkway in Middletown, Ohio are being removed. The trees were removed because they were getting too big and were too close to the road. Branches would periodically fall into the street causing traffic problems and several people have hit the trees with their cars over the years. Twenty-one trees will replace those being cut down. The tree removal is part of a Keep Middletown Beautiful project.
